CHICAGO (May 20, 2019) – Portia R. Brown, an executive with Blue Health Intelligence® (BHI®) will be speaking at Chicago AI Days on Monday, May 20, 2019. Her presentation will focus on AI and Diversity and Inclusion. Brown will share stories and give insights on how to further build diversity in the AI and data science communities here in the Midwest.

Currently, she is managing the development of BHI’s high-cost member predictive and prescriptive modeling work, which incorporates BHI’s world-class data set, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and clinical oversight. These models help healthcare stakeholders identify high-cost individuals sooner and recommend impactful interventions.
With more than 10 years of experience managing programs and projects within the health insurance and larger healthcare industry, Brown has successfully collaborated with product developers, data scientists, analytics professionals, researchers, molder builders, clinicians, IT experts, and business leaders.
She will be joined by Mechie Nkengla and Antoine Flower to discuss this important topic.
