Kelvin Evans, VP, Business Development

As Vice President of Business Development at Blue Health Intelligence (BHI), Kelvin is responsible for developing and expanding new customer relationships and informing them on BHI’s value. He plays a critical role in the strategic development and advancement of WHYZEN Analytics, a BHI product that revolutionizes account reporting and data analytics. Kelvin identifies stakeholders so they can partner with BHI during product development to ensure it aligns with their business needs.

Kelvin has over 20 years of experience in the promotion and management of healthcare decision support systems. He effectively leads teams to identify, engage, and prepare for active participation in strategic and tactical sales plans for successful acquisitions of multi-million dollar service contracts. He has successfully built long-term, consultative relationships at the most impactful levels within organizations.

Prior to BHI, Kelvin was the Vice President of Sales at Health Data and Management Solutions, Inc. (HDMS), where he was responsible for the sales and marketing of HDMS’ data analytics services. Kelvin led the national sales efforts for multiple lines of business for HDMS and was responsible for the expansion of the company’s core offerings of decision support systems and management of the business development relationships with industry partners. Prior to HDMS, Kelvin held several leadership positions at a number of key organizations, including Deloitte, Truven Health (MEDSTAT), CIGNA, and Aetna/Prudential Healthcare.

Kelvin earned MBA and BBA degrees in accounting from the University of Georgia.
